CCO WELOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Conservation Coalition of Oklahoma (CCO) is excited to introduce Matt Wright as our new Executive Director!
A 5th-generation Oklahoman, Matt brings a wealth of experience, having spent over 30 years in the construction industry, including two decades owning and operating Burgess Company. After selling his business in 2023, Matt chose to dedicate his time and energy to conservation, continuing a family tradition of protecting Oklahoma’s natural resources—a commitment inspired by his father’s conservation work.
With his unique perspective from private industry, Matt brings fresh ideas and a results-driven approach to advancing common-sense, non-partisan solutions for safeguarding water, wildlife, and natural habitats across our state.
We’re thrilled to have Matt lead CCO into this exciting new chapter. Together, we can make a lasting impact on Oklahoma’s outdoors!
